Competitions
CreativityUnleashed’s contest arm expands our mission to publish, celebrate, and amplify the voices of young people. Alongside our bespoke publishing platforms, where we work directly with schools and community settings to create projects such as The Rev and The Tottenham Phoenix, our contests offer students new ways to share original writing and artwork with a wider audience.
We currently run two competitions in partnership with aligned organisations, and we look forward to growing this area of our outreach in the years ahead. Through these contests, we aim to create meaningful opportunities for young creatives to gain recognition, build confidence, and see their work published, and celebrated.

In partnership with Aralia Education, CreativityUnleashed celebrates the work of emerging student writers and artists from around the world.
For this competition, middle and high school students are invited to submit bold, original creative work for the chance to be published in our print magazines and featured in our online galleries. Together, we offer young creatives a meaningful platform to share their voices, build confidence, and reach new audiences.

In partnership with the AAPI History Museum, Creativity Unleashed is proud to support the AAPI Art & Writing Competition, a national youth contest for middle and high school students across the United States. Centred on storytelling, cultural heritage, and historical awareness, the competition invites young people to explore AAPI identity, history, family, community, resilience, and belonging through original writing and visual art.
Together, we aim to amplify AAPI youth voices, celebrate creative excellence, and provide students with meaningful opportunities for recognition, exhibition, and community engagement. Winning works will be showcased during the museum’s anniversary event, bringing student perspectives into conversation with educators, scholars, artists, and community leaders. CreativityUnleashed’s Founder and Creative Director also serves as a writing judge for the competition, supporting the selection and celebration of outstanding student work.
Submissions are currently closed, but will reopen in 2027. Further details will follow in due course.
