Things that happened fester in the past
Tragedies lead people to regret, despair.
No one can change the past, they can only live to accept.
Death and its inevitable grip troubles many.

Some move past the mournful time; some fail.

Violence is the reason many families crack.
Some move past the mournful time; some fail
Those who leave are saved from further pain.
Violence is the reason many families crack –
Helplessness, Unwillingness, Indignation occupy the mind.
Those who leave are saved from further pain
But the “lucky” survivors will live in a maudlin environment for years.
Helplessness, Unwillingness, Indignation occupy the mind.
After one Massacre, far more people will languish in pain than the dead
But the “lucky” survivors will live in a maudlin environment for years,
Sometimes choosing to leave to meet their loved ones in the shadow lands.

What can they do? Bite down hard and embrace the
Things that happened, festering in the past.
